I am fairly certain that all of this stems from a p2p torrent i downloaded, which i was already aware of is a big security risk, but i have been very careful when using it and have not had any problems for 3 years using it. I am not super tech savvy but i know my way around a computer decently. Whenever that happens i always run my security scans and always find A LOT of malware to remove but it happens over again after a day or two. I have the same problem where the virus suddenly close my main web browser: google chrome and then reinstalls, what i assume to be malicious version of google chrome as well as firefox. I stumbled upon this thread which sounds very similar to the virus I have been hit with. Other programs i have used are also AdwCleaner and even run rkill before going through all those scans as well but it still keeps happening.
I am now at a point where i run Malwarebytes and HitmanPro everyday and they find same virus/malware appear almost everyday i remove them.
I have tried many suggested programs out there when you google to remove this but same things keep happening and viruses keeps reappearing without me downloading anything to the computer. Hello, my laptop has been infected with some malicious virus that keeps reinstall other malware whenever i remove it, so it must be running in the background that my security programs can not detect.
